Let's Take it From the Top...

I'm gonna let y'all know a little more about me, starting from the beginning. I was born on August 6, 1989, which makes me 19 years old. I grew up in a small town south of Houston called Lake Jackson, Texas...where the city meets the country at the beach. Lol. I've always been an outgoing person. When I was little (like 3 or 4) and my family would go out to eat I would get on top on the table and dance. Lol. I've always loved entertaining and making people smile. I have the most awesomely amazing family in the world. I have an older sister and brother and a younger brother and a nephew. My parents have been together for almost 25 years and are my idols for what I want my marriage to be like.

In school I was always the teacher's pet, and always got good grades. I made perfect scores on the TAAS/TAKS tests every year until high school and usually still made a perfect score on the math and english tests in high school. I've always been an over achiever, striving to do more than was necessary. I'm a bit of a perfectionist I guess you can say. I did everything from piano lessons, to karate, to basketball, but the one that caught my heart was cheerleading. I started in 5th grade and I've been doing it every since. I'm currently captain of the cheerleading squad at my college. Anyways, back to high school, I graduated as number 10 in my senior class. I was student body president, senior class vice president, varsity head cheerleader, choir vice president, NHS vice president, PALS vice president, Varsity powerlifiting and was awarded the Principal's Presidential Award my senior year (I told you I was an over-achiever). I was always involved in something in school. I auditioned and played in many plays and musicals in middle school and high school. As a sophomore I signed with a top modeling agency in Houston, First Models and Talent Agency. When I was a senior, I went to New York for a Modeling Convention and got several awards for modeling and acting. I was selected to attend New York School of Film and Television, but decided to go to college first.

That brings me to now...I'm currently a Junior at Prairie View A&M University. I'm majoring in Fashion and Design and minoring in Finance. I'll also be getting certification in business entrepreneurship before I graduate. My plan after graduation as of now is to pursue my dream of being in the entertainment/fashion industry and moving to LA. I'm gonna make it...you'll see my name in lights some day!
