I sure don't have many. Sad, I know. But it is just so hard to find cool, genuine, trustworthy people to befriend these days. My best friend is my mom. She's really the only person (beside the my dad and siblings) I feel like I can go to about anything, anytime, anywhere and she's still love me the same as before, and will do whatever she can to help. I don't really have friends that I can go to and talk about absolutely anything. My best friend in high school and I were really close and we talked about everything, but our fresman year in college we had an altercation and things just haven't been the same since.
I have lots of friends that I can hang out with and party with and go do things with, but they aren't people I can see myself being comfortable telling my deepest, darkest secrets with. I have one close friend that I tell a lot of things, but I don't tell her everything, and I really wish there was someone I could do that with.
Anyways, I'm tired and don't really feel like writing much more right now, so I'm going to cut it short this time. But if you wanna be my BFF, I'm accepting applications. Let me know! Lol, jk. I'll elaborate on this more whenever I have some more energy. But for now I'll leave you with this..."A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart, and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words." Have a good weekend and be safe everyone!! =)

The secret [of the sweet, satisfying companionship] of the Lord have they who fear (revere and worship) Him, and He will show them His convenant and reveal it [deep, inner] meaning.
Psalm 25:14
Nobody else may see the things you do, but God sees them all. Everytime you pray, God sees it. Everytime you do an act of kindness secretly, God sees it and plans a reward togive you openly (see Matthew 6:1-6)
Serve the Lord in all that you do today. The Word says "In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening withhold not your hands, for you know not which shall prosper, whether this or that, or whether both alike will be good" (Ecclesiates 11:6). God will prosper what you do for Him.

Things Don't Just Happen...They're Planned | 0 comments»
They're planned by His own dear hand.
Then molded and shaped, and timed by His clock.
Things don't just happen; they're planned.
We don't just guess on the issues of life,
We Christians just rest in our Lord.
We are directed by His sovereign will
In the light of His holy word.
We who love Jesus are walking by faith,
Not seeing one step that's ahead
Not doubting one moment what our lot might be,
But looking to Jesus instead
We praise our dear Saviour for loving us so,
For planning each care of our life,
The giving us faith to trust Him for all,
The blessings as well as the strife.
Things don't just happen to us who love God,
To us who have taken our stand.
No matter the lot, the course or the price,
Things don't just happen; they're planned.

Why I'm single... | 0 comments»
So a lot of people have been asking me why I'm single. And my usual answer is because I choose to be. But after thinking about it more in depth, I think it's more than just that I chose to be...it's really because there isn't anyone in my life right now that I would want to be in a relationship with. I believe God knows who I will spend my life with, and either I have not met him yet, or I have met him, but right now isn't the right time for us to start a relationship together (whoever he may be). Because, I wouldn't mind being in a relationship right now, actually I would actually like to be in one. But, I'm just not going to settle for any and everything. I have set high standards for my partner and because I meet those standards, I think it's only fair that the person I'll spend my life with will met, or hopefully, exceed them. So when I meet the person God has for me, or when God reveals who he is to me at the right time, then I'll be in a relationship. Until then, I'm going to remain single and concentrating on growing myself to be the best woman I can, so when he does come around we'll be ready for each other and have a great relationship, fall in love, and live happily ever after! lol. I'm ready for that day, but I'm patiently awaiting for it to arrive, and when it comes, I'll be sure to let everyone know!! =)

Be Transformed | 2 comments»
But now put away and rid yourselves [completely] of all these things: anger, rage, bad feelings toward others, curses, and slander, and foulmouthed abuse and shameful utterances from your lips! . . . And . . . clothe . . . yourselves with the new [spiritual self], which is [ever in the process of being] renewed and remolded into [fuller and more perfect knowledge upon] knowledge after the image (the likeness) of Him Who created it.
Colossians 3:8,10
If you want your life to be different, pray to receive God's transforming power. Simply say:
"God, please forgive my sins and change me into the person You want me to be. I know You are working in me, right now, because I have come to You. You have said that if I abide in Your Word and come into Your presence, I will be changed from glory to glory into Your image. Thank you, Lord, for changing me today."
Believing that God is at work to change you will bring its manifestation.
God bless you today...

The Lord make his face shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you; the Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
Numbers 6:25-26
Looking at seemingly successful people and thinking, Oh, I wish I was like them, wastes much time. We don't know their problems or their flaws. Everyone has trials, and we should thank God for our own, because if we didn't have problems, we wouldn't need Jesus anymore.
Reveal to others the glory of God's presence in your life by being grateful for what He is doing for you. Understand that God puts His treasures in earthen vessels, like us, so that those who don't know Him will see His grandeur and glory in us (see Corinthians 4:7) Let the light of God shine through you life today!
God bless...

This is my amazing, beautiful, crazy family! I love them to death! My parents are the best and my brothers and sister are awesome! The family I have now, is the family I wish to have when I get married and have children. My parents are my models for how I wish my marriage to be! I couldn't have asked God for more of a blessing than the family that I was born into!
I love you guys!

The Three Trees: Not the Way You Planned... | 2 comments»
They were discussing their hopes and dreams when the first tree said, 'Someday I hope to be a great treasure chest. I could be filled with gold, silver and precious gems. I could be decorated with an intricate carving and everyone would see the beauty.' Then the second tree said, 'Someday I will be a mighty ship. I will take Kings and Queens across the waters and sail to the corners of the world. People will feel safe in me because of the strength of my Hull.' Finally the third tree said, 'I want to grow to be the tallest and straightest Tree in the forest. People will see me on top of the hill, look up to my branches, and think of the heavens and God and how close to them I am reaching. I will be the greatest tree of all time and people will always remember me.'
After a few years of praying that their dreams would come true, a group of woodsmen came upon the trees. When one came to the first tree he said, 'This looks like a strong tree, I think I should be able to sell the wood to a carpenter, and he began cutting it down. The tree was happy, because he knew the carpenter would make him into a treasure chest. At the second tree the woodsman said, 'This looks like a strong tree. I will be able to sell it to the shipyard.' The second tree was happy because he knew he was on his way to becoming a mighty ship. When the woodsmen came upon the third tree, the tree was frightened because he knew that if they cut him down his dreams would not come true. One of the men said,'I don't need anything special from my tree, I'll take this one,' and he cut it down.
When the first tree arrived at the carpenters, he was made into a feed box for animals. He was then placed in a barn and filled with hay. This was not at all what he had prayed for. The second tree was cut and made into a small fishing boat. His dreams of being a mighty ship and carrying Kings had come to an end. The third tree was cut into large pieces, and left alone in the dark.
The years went by, and the trees forgot about their dreams. Then one day, a man and woman came to the barn. She gave birth and they placed the baby in the hay in the feed box that was made from the first tree. The man wished that he could have made a crib for the baby, but this manger would have to do. The tree could feel the importance of this event and knew that it had held the greatest treasure of all time. Years later, a group of men got in the fishing boat made fromthe second tree. One of them was tired and went to sleep. While they were out on the water, a great storm arose and the tree didn't think it was strong enough to keep the men safe. The men woke the sleeping man, and he stood and said 'Peace' and the storm stopped. At this time, the tree knew that it had carried the King of Kings in its boat. Finally, someone came and got the third tree. It was carried through the streets as the people mocked the man who was carrying it. When they came to a stop, the man was nailed to the tree and raised in the air to die at the top of a hill. When Sunday came, the tree came to realize that it was strong enough to stand at the top of the hill and be as close to God as was possible, because Jesus had been crucified on it.
The moral of this story is that when things don't seem to be going your way, always know that God has a plan for you. If you place your trust in Him, God will give you great gifts. Each of the trees got what they wanted, just not in the way they had imagined. We don't always know what God's plans are for us. We just know that His Ways are not our ways, but His ways are always best. Be ENCOURAGED!!
